Sмιℓє & тнιик pσsιтιvє!

Dear readers! It has been a while since my last blog post: what’s going on in my respectively in your life?

May started and I thought of giving you some updates about my daily life. As you know, I had to go through some tough situations… however, things have started looking up!Expect the one thing that I still have a lot to do at work: The exhibition, for which I am responsible, started yesterday and lasts until 16th May. That means, my boss is now in Düsseldorf, Germany to take care of our customers, who are arriving at the airport or train station and I hold the fort in the office here in Switzerland. People with questions about their journey and others with name changes, rebooking or cancelation (*gosh* some people are really unbelievable and exhausting…  but I won’t go any further on the matter) On certain days, the telephone rings constantly and since I am the only person at the travel agency, there is loads to do!

Nevertheless, this is the only stressful thing in my life at the moment (hmm ok, there were still my school exams in July…) and after mid-May the situation should gradually calm down.

Enough about my work, here is the good news:

I got the job I wanted!  The funny thing is; it was damn easy to get that job… I thought they would pepper me with thousands of questions and expect an “essay” about; why I want to work there…  I spend my time with the preparation of my working experiences, qualifications, knowledge, strengths and weaknesses every day. I went to the second interview and the only thing they asked me was: “are you flexible enough to…?”. They showed me around and my future superior introduced me to his team. The last thing I had to do was to think about it again and give them my decision, if I would like to work there or not. So, since I really really wanted the job, I wrote a long detailed e-mail and before I could send it, the recruiter wrote me: “…could you already decide…. we would appreciate when you could support our team.”  *omg* for what did I write the letter?  I send them my message anyway and finally, I was happy to get that job! And this week I even got the confirmation, that I can continue my second academic year! Yupiee! I’m really relieved, because normally you have to work in a tourism sector or marketing when you’d like to do this school. My new company operates in a watch and jewellery industry – haha, for the future I will compete with my little sister, now we both work for well-known Swiss companies.

Another thing, which I would like to share with you, is that my beloved best friend will come and visit me in Switzerland. Mhm… I guess since 2008 she is now living in Germany with her boyfriend and our last meeting was last year in…. eehh… May?!! WOW, *g* how could one year past so quickly? Unfortunately she can stay just three days at my home, cause she has to go back to Germany soon (busy at work – her holidays have been reduced) I will enjoy the time with her nevertheless. I look forward to her arrival tomorrow!

JapAniMangaNight is coming soon! I can’t wait to see lovely ねこちゃん and meet other familiar faces after a long time of not seeing each other. Check out the dates and join us! We will definitely have a lot of fun!

And let me say some word about my pretty kitten. Hana is doing great and keeps developing really well! She is a good girl and learns very quickly what she is or isn’t allowed to do. She is jumping around on every chair, on the bath tub or even in our waste baskets! Now she knows our house by heart and since the rainy season is nearly over, it is high time to let her out to discover the huge outdoor life. I did endless photos of her and would like to create a movie of her actions. There are some very funny scenes but this has to wait until I’m finished with my exams. Stay tuned~

Last but not least, my weekend activities: For the first time in a long time I’ll leave the house to go out, party, dance and spend time with my friends. Oh yes, let’s partyyy, have fun, enjoy young life! Let my school work at home and forget all worries about my exams in July – everything will be fine, I believe in me! Tomorrow I’ll pick up my best friend at the train station and for dinner we’ll make self-made Sushi.

Happy Weekend Guys!
