I have dark hair – I colour it blond!
I have short hair – I want to get extensions!
I have straight hair – I want to have
curls!

You probably know this situation  Many straight-haired girls would love to have a head full of curls – nowadays flat- & curling irons make girl’s dream come true. But: frequently straightening your hair can be damaging to the hair follicles, causing them to dry out or become brittle… That’s why I searched on Youtube for an alternative method and I found a very simple heat-free hair tutorial:

ooooh, she has so beautiful long hair *jealous*

BTW, my beauty idol Bubz made a same tutorial:

Soft nice looking curls

May you noticed my curly-look at Christmas? I used the same technique

Actually, I don’t like to look more asian than I am…
however, this time I experimented and tried a different make-up shape:

 Happy Weekend, everybody!

Long time no… see? I am really sorry for not updating my Blog in the past few days!  The situation is as follows:

I feel a bit stressed at the moment, especially this week was/will be horror.   I had a job interview and some unpleasant experiences at a personnel consulting yesterday… I have to learn for school, hold a one hour presentation, we are very busy at work – gosh, I have to tidy up and I am still not satisfied with my new bedroom yet.  Aaah, I wish I were on a beautiful lonely island without any pressure, load strain…. Forget everything around me and just switch off, relax and fill my soul with new refreshing energy – that would be the solution!  Anyway life isn’t easy and I’ll have to deal with it. *fight*

However, I would like to show you some impressions of the Giardina fair in Zurich, where I went on Sunday. My mum loves gardening so she joined me.

Every year, the garden season opens with Giardina, the extraordinary exhibition of everything to do with living in the garden. Switzerland’s leading exhibition in the garden sector recorded a major success the thirteenth time round too. For the fifth Giardina in succession, all seven halls at Messe Zürich were fully booked out.

A total of 260 exhibitors from eight European countries offered an incredible variety of content over more than 28,000 m2 and once again had the visiting public in raptures. Some 63,000 visitors treated themselves to the enjoyable experience of the extraordinary design concepts and the impressive presentations. Giardina once again demonstrated that it is the quality leader amongst the indoor garden exhibitions in Europe. Thanks to the inspired creations, innovations and trends it presented, the elegant event confirmed that is second-to-none and enhanced its standing still further. (giardina.ch)

In Memory of the victims in Japan…
03.11.2011

I still can’t believe that one year has gone by since the tragedy in Japan changed the lives of men, woman, grandparents, families, children…

Even though the catastrophe of Fukushima is not reported on TV and in the newspapers anymore the students of the Dennigkofen school in Ostermundigen (Switzerland) would like to show with this original song that they have not forgotten the suffering of the people of the Northeastern part of Japan. They sing in japanese even though none of them has ever learned or spoken any japanese. (swissinfo.ch)

I know that I should attend to my school lessons on Saturday (I’ll have hard subjects, which I actually shouldn’t miss out) but for JAN, even reliable Miho will skip the classes *lol* It’s worth it!  Furthermore, this time I will probably be there as a kitchen staff. We are still looking for some more Kitchen-samurai in our team – so, if you are interested to help (or want to meet me  *hahaa, just kidding*) you can leave a comment on my blog or directly write to Saito Hajime, our chef de cuisine. An excellent team is waiting for you and you can profit from various advantages:

Free entry to the JAN
Free JAN T-shirt
Free time outside working hours
Meet me and other nice colleagues
Food *3*
Shower possibility for kitchen staff

You don’t need any cooking experiences; everybody is warmly welcome to our team! Join us now and have a great time!

If you need any further information or help, you can contact me at any time!

Hello beloved readers! How are you?
Are you ready for some Miho’s daily life updates?

March started, the sun is shining day by day, the birds are singing and I can feel the spring! It is just superb!

I passed my exams with (some very) good results and can continue my second semester at my tourism school. In addition, school started again with some exciting subjects like geography, ecology, marketing, destination management but there are also some intensive themes like tourism policy, law and financial management. (Seriously, we got tonnes of paper, more than 5cm thickness in each subject *ever heard about: save the planet???* )

Most of the shops and stores are contributing to a spring-like atmosphere. Colourful clothing, footwear, make-up and numerous sweet chocolate bunnies are sitting in the shelves and waiting to be bought.
(Did you know: Swiss people eat around 11.5 kg chocolate in one year! )

Gosh, in nearly one month I become one year older! But the best thing is, my birthday is exactly on Easter Sunday *lol*

I can’t wait to see my little sis again, she had medium-long hair and now she uploaded a picture of her new hair style on Facebook. She reminds me of Emma Watson from Harry Potter. Wow, they are really short now, but short hair always look good on her  (oh, I didn’t tell you that she moved out from our house to our daddy last year – no? Well, it was a complicated situation… *haha, no further comment*)

My best friend called me last Sunday – it passed a long time since we last heard from each other.  Good news from her; she announced me that she will come and visit me in May!  Our last meeting was one year ago! I am so excited to hold her in my arms and spend some time with her!  *jupiee*

Another event will be in May 2012: the 12th JapAniMangaNight!!! The programme is more or less ready, the dates are fixed. I will definitely be there again as a staff. More information in my next entry~

It is time to refresh my room. I bought new furniture, which includes a big bed, small night tables and a new bookshelf (my old bookshelf isn’t “straight” anymore *lol* my books are becoming too heavy). I still want to buy new curtains, bed linen and other decorations stuff.

I am applying for a new job and hope to get an interesting position

What happened in your daily life? Any good (or bad) news ?
