  1. So many funny and interesting things are in this magazine! ♡ I never thought about Daifuku being easy to make but maybe I will give it a try! I love the idea with the butter stick!…although how can you keep it from melting??

    • I copied the Koneko-recipe for the Ichigo Daifuku for you, so if you have some time to make….

      150g Klebreismehl / 150ml Wasser / 150g Anko / 10 Erdbeeren / 1 Prise Kartoffelstärke

      Die Erdbeeren waschen und vom Stiel befreien. Nun einen gehäuften Löffel Anko zu einer Scheibe formen und die Erdbeeren bis zur Spitze darin einhüllen. Klebreismehl und Wasser in einen Topf geben, zu einer geschmeidigen Masse verrühren. Gemisch bei mittlerer Hitze erwärmen und umrühren. Nach kurzer Zeit wird es milchig-transparent. Wenn die Masse eine zähe, klebrige Konsistenz angenommen hat, dass Ganze auf eine mit Kartoffelstärke bestreute Fläche stellen und abkühlen lassen. Sobald Masse kühl genug ist, wird sie mit einem Messer in 10 Teile geschnitten. Stücke dann zu Kreisen formen und die mit Anko eingehüllten Erdbeeren damit umhüllen. Das Ganze nun zu einer Kugel formen. Das Ergebnis sieht nicht nur schön aus, sondern schmeckt auch unvergleichlich lecker =)

      and according to the butter stick… I think you keep it in the fridge? (My Mum asked me where you can buy them – she is very interested in it, it’s certainly a practical way to butter your bread >w<)
