Beloved readers

finally it’s done: no more learning – no more exams – no more school (well, just for a while…) I took my last final exam tomorrow morning! What a relief!

Afterwards, I rushed home and hastily began to fill up my suitcase – tomorrow I am leaving for Germany.  The last time to spend some more time with my lovely school friends!

★ Party ★ Shopping ★ Sightseeing ★ Harbour Tour (if it’s nice weather) ★
★★ Opera ★ Short visit to my Best Friend ★ Fish Market ★ Nightlife ★★

More information & pictures will follow after my return (yupiee, more time for blogging *yaaay* )

So, take care guys  and see you soon!
Miho

PS. After my “the-school-stuff-must-be-stored-away-as-quickly-as-possible” process, the cupboard looked like this!  there is a lot to do after my holidays…

Sōмєи – japanese Noodles

My mother loves gardening – and I love eating!  Mum harvested some Daikon (japanese radish) from our garden. But they weren’t  ordinary Daikon – no, they were violet!  No worries – it’s a just a special type. My Mummy likes to plant unique species of vegetables. (We have already had Kumato (black tomato) or  even black carrots)

So the first question was: how to use these Daikon? Well, the answer is quite simple; cut it in to pieces and use it as a topping for Sōmen (white Japanese noodles made of wheat flour) The Japanese usually eat it cold – in summer it’s exactly the right meal to help stay cool

There is also another way to enjoy Sōmen: Nagashi Sōmen (flowing Noodles). The noodles are put in water flowing along a long flume of bamboo. You have to catch the noodles with your chopsticks, what is not very easy, nevertheless, it brings you much fun.

I found some old photos of our holiday in Japan.  My grandfahter halved a  Bamboo-tree  and so that we could enjoy our self-made Nagashi Sōmen.

it’s embarassing >w< *ahahaa…*

ただ、君を愛してる ♥ Tada Kimi Wo Aishiteru ♥ Just loving you

Since a long time I wanted to watch the Japanese movie “Heavenly Forest” I am sure it is over one year ago (or probably more…) that I found the Trailer on Youtube, but I never had time to see it. Today, I suddenly wanted to watch a romantic and sad movie, so I have chosen it. A very emotional story about Friendship, Love and Faith. I couldn’t stop crying. Was there at least a tiny bit of love in that kiss…?
